About Us
Tony Brakel, President of Brakel Construction Inc. was born and raised in the Northwest Michigan region. You could say building quality structures is in his blood. At the age of 10, he helped his father build their farm. From there he worked at his grandfathers logging and sawmill operation. He began building and remodeling homes at the age of 20.  Not long after, Tony went on to form Brakel Construction and has become one of Traverse City's finest and most well respected general contractors. Tony is committed to the belief that you should do something right the first time and he is a perfectionist.  He prides himself on knowing what the client wants and goes that extra mile to achieve it.  One of the areas' most experienced builders, Brakel Construction has been in building beautiful homes in Northern Michigan for over 30 years!
